MD3000i Host has been crashed

Hi,

We having a problem with our MD3000i. The host that is connected to the md3000i has been crashed and we want to access the data from a different host . we did install the storage management on a different server. can we just removed the crashed host from "Edit- Host-to-Virtual disk" and add a different server?

Do we need to install ISCSI intiator on the new server?
