md3220 bricked after updating firmware

I have Dell MD3220 that I was trying to update the firmware before putting it  back into service.

The bridge firmware update worked, the I tried to update the firmware to the current version it failed and now I have large brick.  I am not trying to save any data.

I am now trying to update firmware to the current version using the serial port with Hyper-terminal.  After 2 hours of the file transfer I get the following message.

Transfer Cancelled by Remote System.

I can get the bridge firmware to update using the serial port.

Any idea's?
