Hi I have an issue with my MD3620i that I hope someone has seen before. The issue is it looks like one of the slots becomes unresponsive in my raid group. Storage manager says everything is fine.
How I found this out is mainly i was having bad performance on some vm's and disk tests shows a huge random drop in performance. So I removed all VM's and blew away the disk group then recreated a disk group with one disk in it it until i found the bad slot. It was slot 17 on my san. I was able to create the disk group with that one disk but I could not read or write to the disk. Still Storage manager said everything was fine. I simply reset the disk in the slot and everything started working fine. I could then read and write to that disk. I rebuilt the disk group and now several months later the same issue is happening. But I'm not sure if its the same slot
Does anyone know of a way to get storage manager to see this issue? Below is the Firmware Versions I am on.
