HD in SATA chassis failed. Chatted with support, recommended purchase replacement HD from Impact since out of warranty. Ordered part, received, put into chassis... chassis says not supported. Back to chat, but apparently out of warranty isn't supported via chat (but website says otherwise) so, recommended calling 1800 945 3355 -- options were community or $599 incident.
Looked up part, Hatachi HUA721075KLA330 SATA is on support list, but requires firmware A74A
Is that referring to firmware of HD , don't see firmware option on label? Would MDSM display HD firmware version when installed in chassis?
