I have inherited an up and running out of warranty PowerVault 100, running Windows Storage Server 2003 with a Dell PERC 5/i . It has 3 - 500 gig WD5002ABYS RE3's running in an unknown RAID config showing an 850GB data partition and 80 GB Boot partition.
Windows Storage Server appears to not be handling any Volume or RAID duties. I have tried launching OpenManage at the known current IP address at port 1311 but get no logon prompts .
If OpenManage is installed, it could have been setup when the server was in a previous subnet or configured at a different port from 1311.
I see no folders or any other indications of OpenManage being installed and I am being very cautious and unsure as to how to proceed to get to the original install or just install the most recent version.
Any ideas or help for this total newbie would be greatly appreciated as I need to be able to monitor and maintain the RAID volume
