I have a MD3000i with dual controllers (firmware 07.35.39.64). Recently, batteries seem to fail in controller 1. Some batteries have worked for 4-5 months while others (newly purchased, supposedly new batteries) have failed after the learn cycle.
I have tried a number of things, including:
- upgrading the firmware to the level above (this is the most recent for the MD3000i, right?).
- reseated the controller each time a battery is replaced, tried an old battery to see if the issue is with the controller, etc.
- Powered down the entire system then restarted.
- Manually reset the learn cycle from the command line.
What else could I try in this case?
I have noticed that each battery seems to have a manufacture date that is 2011 or earlier, could this be an issue?
